Swedish PACS and digital mammography developer Sectra of Linköping will show several advances for its preoperative planning technology at next month's American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) annual meeting in New Orleans.
Sectra has upgraded its suite of preoperative planning tools to include automated guides for shoulder implant and hip resurfacing surgery. In addition, Sectra continues to expand the image analysis for its knee surgery planning tools.
The addition of various guides and custom planning profiles are designed to make Sectra's orthopedic PACS more intuitive for the user.
