Fujifilm Medical Systems USA of Stamford, CT, plans to showcase a new version of its Synapse cardiovascular image management software at the American College of Cardiology (ACC) meeting in Atlanta.
The new 4.0.4 upgrade allows cardiology departments to have one-click access to third-party applications such as QAngio XA version 7.1 from Medis Medical Imaging Systems of Leiden, Netherlands, and QLAB advanced quantification software from Philips Healthcare of Andover, MA, according to Fuji.
While reviewing cardiac catheterization studies within version 4.0.4, users can now launch QAngio XA version 7.1, and when performing image review and reporting in Synapse, echocardiographers can launch QLAB directly from the image, Fuji said.
