Agfa highlights CV suite at ACC

Agfa HealthCare of Greenville, SC, plans to show a host of new products and upgrades at this month's American College of Cardiology (ACC) annual meeting in Atlanta.

Agfa's newly enhanced Impax Cardiovascular (CV) suite supports clinicians with an integrated cardiovascular information system for cardiac catheterization, echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, cardiac CT/CT angiography, nuclear cardiology, and electrocardiogram (ECG) data.

The multimodality suite features a cardiovascular review station and focuses on workflow, integration, and connectivity, including structured reports, multimodality cardiovascular image analysis, and vendor-neutral ECG management. New features include:

  • Impax Cardiovascular for Cardiac CT/CT Angiography, which combines cardiac CT-3D visualization technology from TeraRecon of San Mateo, CA, and measurement and reporting capabilities
  • An adult and pediatric echo image review and reporting module, which enables users to gain enhanced access and distribution of echocardiography images and data
  • A vascular ultrasound review and reporting tool designed for the vascular laboratory, with both imaging and integrated structured reporting for noninvasive exams
  • A cardiac catheterization reporting tool that focuses on collecting clinical data during cardiac catheterizations and transforms that data into structured results
