RIS/PACS vendor Brit Systems will showcase version 2.2 of its Roentgen Burner software at next week's Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) annual meeting in Minneapolis.
The release features a new HL7 interface that runs in the background receiving and storing reports that can be included on CDs and DVDs along with imaging studies. It also includes a CD/DVD importer with a paper digitizer for importing studies and paper information into any DICOM server, according to the Dallas-based vendor.
