Carestream Health will debut its eHealth PACS Services offering at next week's Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) annual meeting in Minneapolis.
The new addition to Carestream's eHealth Managed Services portfolio of cloud-based services will provide users with image management, viewing, distribution, and storage on a fee-for-use basis depending on monthly image volume. eHealth PACS Services will be available in the U.S. and other selected countries across Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
In other news, the Rochester, NY-based company said it's now taking orders for the latest upgrade to its Carestream PACS software. The version features automatic abdominal and cardiac vessel segmentation capabilities, as well as a new user interface.
The new user interface provides thumbnail images for patient information and imaging studies, allowing for faster and easier selection of desired information, according to Carestream.
