GE Healthcare showcased a work-in-progress operational dashboard application at last week's annual Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) meeting in Minneapolis.
The dashboard is currently being tested by the Trident Medical Center in Charleston, SC, which is using it to monitor imaging procedures and proactively prevent patient delays, according to the Chalfont St. Giles, U.K.-based vendor. A large-screen monitor shows the status of each pending exam against a target turnaround time.
The dashboard application is expected to be available toward the end of 2010.
