Archiving services provider InSite One has released version 6.1 of its InDex enterprise archive software.
The new version incorporates improved clinical workflow capabilities by providing patient data-sharing tools such as identity matching and reconciliation, according to the Wallingford, CT-based vendor. The new features adhere to the Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) standards framework and protocols, InSite One said.
InDex 6.1 provides XDS-I and Web Access to DICOM Objects (WADO), allowing any IHE-compliant document consumer software to view data within the InDex archive. In other additions, InDex 6.1 now includes an enhanced high-availability configuration that can address larger enterprise volumes; it also provides processing capacity for both storing data and enhancing workflow using HL7 messaging feeds and new DICOM routing tools, InSite One said.
