PACS firm American Medical Sales (AMS) has released version 5.0 of its Catella PACS software.
Version 5.0 features a browser-based diagnostic viewer, enhancements to Catella's print composer application, and the ability to readily set up various CD/DVD records and labelers, according to the Hawthorne, CA-based firm. AMS has also embedded code for its optional film and paper scanner acquisition model in every software package, the company said.
