Teleradiology services provider NightHawk Radiology Services of Scottsdale, AZ, has launched a new peer-review protocol as part of its quality assurance program.
Client Peer Review evaluates communication effectiveness and reporting accuracy based on patient outcomes and will free radiology practices from the administrative burden of maintaining a third-party review themselves, according to NightHawk. The program is accessed through a secure Web portal, and it allows radiology practices to compare their practices to their peers as part of their effort to improve their standard of care.
