Digital publishing developer Rimage has launched a majority-owned joint venture in China in partnership with medical software firm Taiwan Electronic Data Processing (TEDPC).
The new company, Rimage Information Technology, will provide digital publishing offerings for medical imaging in hospitals and clinics in China. The Shanghai-based firm will be led by General Manager Jason Jiang, who has more than 10 years of experience working in the Chinese medical market, according to Rimage of Minneapolis.
Rimage will own 51% of the joint venture, while TEDPC will own the remaining 49%. Initial revenues are anticipated during the second half of 2010, Rimage said.
