Diagnostic Imaging International (DIIG) of Las Vegas reported a healthy increase in revenues and a reduced net loss for its second quarter (end-June 30).
The company owns and operates Canadian Teleradiology Services of Belleville, Ontario.
Revenues increased 72% to $734,000, compared with $426,000 in the second quarter of 2009. The net loss for the second quarter decreased to $140,000, compared with a net loss of $487,000 in the same quarter of 2009. The company blamed the loss on noncash amortizations and legal expenses.
For the six-month period, revenues advanced to $1.4 million, compared with $521,000 in the first half of 2009. The net loss for the six-month period was $313,000, compared with a net loss of $667,000 in the same period a year ago.
