RIS/PACS developer Image Technology Laboratories (ITL) said that its RIS/PACS software was able to link to a central New York health information exchange (HIE).
Images, data, and records produced and stored by ITL's RIS/PACS at Park Avenue Associates in Radiology's Southern Tier Imaging MRI facility in Johnson City, NY, are now electronically linked with the Southern Tier HealthLink HIE.
Funded by the New York state government, Southern Tier HealthLink aims to facilitate the exchange of healthcare information among participating providers in the central New York region, according to Kingston, NY-based ITL.
