Image viewing software developer Calgary Scientific and Sprint are teaming up to debut advanced visualization software for use on the HTC Evo 4G smartphone.
In addition to offering access to patient images, ResolutionMD Mobile can provide reports and video for clinical consultations, according to Calgary Scientific of Calgary, Alberta. The company said that it's seeking U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance for diagnostic use of the software.
The companies are also working to certify ResolutionMD Mobile for use on the Samsung Epic 4G, Sprint's other 4G-capable handset.
