Siemens lands DIN-PACS contract

Siemens Healthcare has received a contract worth up to $6 million for a Digital Imaging Network - PACS (DIN-PACS) project from the U.S. Department of Defense.

The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support in Philadelphia awarded the Malvern, PA-based vendor with a bridge contract for DIN-PACS systems, subsystems, and components. The project is to be completed by March 30, 2011, according to the Department of Defense.
