Carestream Health of Rochester, NY, has released its latest Carestream PACS workstation software that adds features and functionality, including advanced 3D capabilities.
The latest addition to the PACS platform's 3D toolset is automatic abdominal and cardiac vessel segmentation. The feature uses algorithms to automatically locate relevant vessels and present clinicians with the ability to detect clinical features such as the extent of blockage in a vessel or the aneurysm size.
A new user interface is designed to provide thumbnail images for patient information and imaging studies, enabling selection of information to help reduce or eliminate manual searches for relevant data.
