Oncology firm Elekta has added an image and data management hub to its Mosaiq Oncology PACS software.
Called Mosaiq Data Director, the package allows oncology professionals to direct the interchange of images and information and provide for modern oncology workflow, according to the Stockholm-based firm. Data Director enables the patient chart to become the centralized control point to manage, view, move, and archive patient images and data, Elekta said.
Users can also utilize a new Web-based viewer to explore data and archived images or objects online using 3D functionality, according to the vendor.
In other Elekta news, the firm said it has received an order from the Chinese Ministry of Health for three of its Leksell Gamma Knife models. Elekta said it would deliver two Perfexion units and one 4C system.
