PACS vendor Intelerad Medical Systems of Montreal has debuted a new IntelePACS 3D module, which incorporates the High Definition Volume Rendering (HDVR) technology from advanced visualization firm Fovia of Palo Alto, CA, directly into Intelerad's software.
IntelePACS 3D boosts the company's InteleViewer reading software with hybrid client-and-server rendering technology, according to Intelerad. With Fovia's HDVR technology, InteleViewer users can create layout protocols that automatically generate on-the-fly reformats for direct comparisons between current and prior studies, Intelerad said.
