Laurel Bridge nets VA contract

Software developer Laurel Bridge Software has received a multiyear, nationwide, enterprise license contract from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

The contract covers continued and expanded use of the Newark, DE-based vendor's DICOM Connectivity Framework (DCF) software within all VA medical centers. DCF DICOM libraries have been used by the VA since 2005 to enable enhanced DICOM communications for its VistA Imaging software and to support image transfers with the U.S. Department of Defense, Laurel Bridge said.
