Dear AuntMinnie Member,
Thanks to everyone who attended our PACS in an Age of Change virtual conference yesterday. Conference attendees enjoyed six thought-provoking presentations from some of the most prominent thought leaders in imaging informatics -- as well as a unique new form of online conference interaction in our virtual show environment.
If you weren't able to attend the conference in real-time, don't worry -- all six presentations have been archived for on-demand viewing. All you need to do is click here, or go to pacschange.auntminnie.com to get information on how to connect.
Thanks again to all our speakers, sponsors, and participants, and we look forward to hosting another virtual conference soon!
Report from AHA show
In news from a conference taking place in the real world, the American Heart Association (AHA) is meeting in Chicago this week, with plenty of presentations on the latest in cardiac imaging technology.
One of them concerns radiation dose in interventional cardiology procedures. Researchers from Children's Hospital in Philadelphia developed a series of protocols designed to reduce fluoroscopy dose -- some of them as simple as repositioning equipment.
