PACS accessories firm PACSGear of Pleasanton, CA, has released a new version of its quality control tool for PACS and electronic health records.
GEARView QC 2.0 features a media import tool designed to allow hospitals and healthcare facilities to upload and reconcile medical images and related results securely. The feature enables facility-to-facility imaging to complement regional health information exchange (HIE) efforts.
PACSGear plans to launch GEARView 2.0 at this year's annual RSNA meeting later this month.
