Cloud-based imaging platform developer DICOM Grid has received $7.5 million in series A financing from a syndicate led by venture capitalist Canaan Partners.
CHL Medical Partners and private investors also participated in the syndicate. DICOM Grid of Phoenix said the investment would accelerate its market expansion and product development.
In addition, Canaan Partners general partner Stephen Bloch, MD; CHL Medical Partners general partner Myles Greenberg, MD; and Chronic Health Capital CEO Steven Yecies have joined DICOM Grid's board of directors.
