PACS firm eRad of Greenville, SC, announced the release of version 7.0 of its Web-based eRad PACS to address issues of data distribution.
The new version features cross-enterprise online image sharing capabilities, including the ability to upload images from any PC connected to the Internet securely without the need for a dedicated gateway or virtual private network (VPN). In addition to image management, scanned documents and electronic medical records can be added to patient files, according to eRad.
