Cloud-based imaging platform developer DICOM Grid of Phoenix has released ImageCare, a scalable, Web-based cloud computing image management and archiving system.
ImageCare provides seamless image sharing along with long-term archiving, enabling immediate access to all of a patient's imaging data regardless of where or when studies were generated, the company said. It allows physicians to store, search, and access medical imaging data that have been uploaded onto the DICOM Grid and collaborate in real-time with clinicians in other locations.
Using DICOM Grid's Split-Merge technology, ImageCare incorporates state-of-the-art security and privacy that allows physicians to safely access imaging data over any Internet connection.
The system exceeds regulatory requirements for offsite archival, disaster recovery, business continuity, and PACS migration, allowing facilities to eliminate expensive legacy archival systems, according to DICOM Grid.
