Image storage and connectivity software developer XStor Medical Systems has received a U.S. patent for its software storage platform.
The patent, No. 7,844,691, enables the XStor storage platform to utilize industry-standard servers for optimal delivery of large volumes of data securely across geographically distributed locations, while providing simplified management of enterprise-class storage, according to the Mountain View, CA-based vendor.
