Imaging toolkit developer LEAD Technologies has added a number of new upgrades to version 17 of its LEADtools software development kit.
The new additions include a Windows 7 software development kit, a more user-friendly medical workstation framework, optimizations for use with Microsoft's Silverlight software, and new file formats, according to the Charlotte, NC-based firm.
In addition, 3D volume reconstruction and viewing features in the medical workstation framework have received significant performance and efficiency improvements, allowing for multiple volumes to be displayed and processed simultaneously, LEAD said.
