Los Angeles-based imaging services provider RadNet has completed its $5.5 million acquisition of teleradiology firm Imaging On Call of Poughkeepsie, NY.
The transaction includes contingent compensation of as much as an additional $2.5 million if Imaging On Call reaches certain performance milestones in 2011.
Imaging On Call's services include preliminary, final, and subspecialty teleradiology coverage over a range of imaging modalities, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and x-ray.
Imaging On Call contracts with hospital-based and nonhospital-based radiology groups, hospitals, imaging centers, and research foundations for remote interpretation of diagnostic imaging exams.
