Medical image sharing firm LifeImage has received $11.8 million in series B financing.
The financing round was led by Cardinal Partners and included new investor Galen Partners, according to LifeImage of Newton, MA. The company said it will use the funds to expand its operations and strategic partnerships to meet demand for its cloud-based medical image-sharing platform.
In a related development, Thomas McKinley from Cardinal Partners and David Jahns of Galen Partners have joined LifeImage's board of directors.
