Healthcare IT developer Medima Solutions of Leiden, the Netherlands, has released a new software version of its PacsScanner, which scans printed documents into a PACS to be permanently associated with an archived imaging study.
PacsScanner 3.0 works with a scanner and Microsoft-based PCs. It is designed to facilitate the scanning of documents such as insurance cards, clinical notes, and physician orders, Medima said.
