Software developer Laurel Bridge Software has introduced a new version of its Compass DICOM routing application.
The new version includes features such as dynamic priority routing, which provides greater granularity for establishing image routing priorities and workflow sequences, according to the Newark, DE-based vendor.
Another new feature, called destination heartbeat sensing, automatically detects the availability or attachment of destinations and automatically routes images to them when they are connected, Laurel Bridge said. The company has also added additional configuration options, a new destination status form, and study-based custom filtering.
In addition, Laurel Bridge said it has introduced Compass Basic, a limited-functionality licensing option for implementation scenarios with limited numbers of sources or destinations.
