PACS vendor CoActiv Medical of Ridgefield, CT, has introduced a new turnkey PACS tablet designed to enable virtual, worldwide wireless access to radiology images.
CoActiv Exam-Pad Model 10 operates in a Windows 7 Professional environment, with hardware and software features that include a 10.1-inch capacitive multitouch 1024 x 600 LED display, 3G and Edge phone networks, and USB and Bluetooth connectivity for Web-based video streaming and touchscreen operation.
It also offers CoActiv's new Exam-Jacket technology to provide a visual timeline of a patient's complete imaging history and one-click access to prior exams, report impressions, full reports, and scanned data.
