Medical image management technology developer Mach7 Technologies has won a contract with Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) for its Keystone Engine radiology department workflow tool.
Mach7 has installed Keystone Engine between MGH's PACS and dual-server environments; now the facility's PACS network sends all studies once to Keystone Engine, which in turn routes each study to both server environments. This reduces the overhead required to send PACS studies by 50% and improves overall PACS performance, according to Mach7.
In addition, the studies that cause end-user errors are filtered out by Keystone Engine's customer-defined rules, the company said.
