Carestream Health said it has won a seven-year contract with Winthrop-University Hospital of Mineola, NY, for its cloud-based RIS/PACS and vendor-neutral archiving services.
With Carestream Health's cloud-based services, healthcare facilities pay a per-study usage charge instead of investing in building, maintaining, and upgrading a large internal IT infrastructure, according to Carestream.
