PACS vendor ScImage is providing the U.S. Air Force (USAF) with collection, assessment, and reporting tools to expedite cardiovascular decisions for aviators, while concurrently reducing flight disqualification delays.
Using secure PicomEnterprise PACS software from ScImage, flight clinics worldwide can electronically transfer exams to the USAF's Aeromedical Consultation Service (ACS) for rapid assessment.
With this Web-based PACS, ACS physicians will report their observations electronically, providing decision support for the disposition of flight personnel.
