Carestream Health said it has begun shipping a module for its PACS software that delivers embedded critical results notification.
The module is available as an option for all new orders and as an upgrade for existing users of the company's Carestream PACS version 11.0 or higher. It allows facilities with older RIS networks to meet Joint Commission requirements for tracking the reporting and receipt of critical clinical findings, according to Carestream.
