Image-guided therapy firm Brainlab is debuting Quentry, an online network using cloud computing technology, at the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) annual meeting being held this week in Denver.
Quentry is a PACS-independent online network designed to enable users to share and discuss medical images with an advanced Web-based DICOM viewer. Its functionality includes secure uploading, sharing, and viewing of images, enabling surgeons to consult with their colleagues, according to the company.
Applications are provided from centralized servers operating in highly secure data centers.
