Software developer Laurel Bridge Software has released a new version of its PowerTools suite of DICOM utilities and tools for testing, debugging, and troubleshooting devices and applications that use DICOM.
Added features include a new console utility, called Indexer, to process images in a given directory hierarchy and create an index of specified DICOM tags in a comma-separated file, according to the company.
In addition, DICOM File Editor now allows viewing of multiple files at once, displaying a four-tiered hierarchy of images in a navigation pane that allows easy inspection of the patient-study-series-image relationship.
