RIS and PACS vendor Novarad has launched its NovaCardio cardiac PACS software at this week's Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) meeting in Washington, DC.
Novarad is touting NovaCardio's single-click workflow and automated display of prior studies. The company noted that the software is optimized to view large dynamic ultrasound and angiography exams at full spatial and temporal resolution.
NovaCardio includes an EncaptureMD medical reporting platform, with report-building tools for simplifying report creation and turnaround, as well as faster billing, lab inventory management, scheduling, and other functions. The software also includes administrator dashboards for real-time evaluation of lab workflow.
Other features on NovaCardio include disaster recovery, 24/7 remote support, and software and hardware updates to protect against obsolescence.
