PACS vendor CoActiv Medical announced that it has launched a cloud-based clinical viewer.
Exam-Browser allows hospitals and imaging centers using CoActiv software to store images in the company's Exam-Vault cloud-based archive to view and manipulate exams from any browser-enabled computer or mobile device, including Windows, Linux, and Macs, as well as most smartphones and tablets, according to CoActiv. The system operates using wired, Wi-Fi, or 3G/4G mobile Internet connectivity.
Exam-Browser supports a range of modalities and image formats including 2D, multiplanar reformatting, 3D, and echocardiography with full cine support. It allows for image manipulation with window/level, zoom, and pan and rotate in either single or multiple window formats, CoActiv said.
