Image display firm Barco has introduced MXRT-5450, a new display controller with dual DVI connectors.
MXRT-5450 features AMD's FirePro professional graphics capability, and it offers improved performance for handling large datasets as well as better OpenGL and DirectX functionality, according to the vendor.
Its GPU is based on PCIe Gen 2 x 16-architecture and can accommodate image loading, roaming, and manipulation of images with up to 5.8-megapixel grayscale resolution, Barco said. MXRT-5450 is optimized to work with Barco's Nio and Coronis display offerings, as well as its MediCal QAWeb software, according to the firm.
