Advanced visualization firm Vital has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance for VitreaView, the company's new universal viewer that provides uniform access to all DICOM and non-DICOM images within a patient's medical record.
VitreaView is designed for unrestricted access through electronic medical record systems, electronic health record systems, and health information exchanges. This single viewer can be used with Web-enabled devices, including both Microsoft Windows and Apple Macintosh operating systems.
