Imaging informatics firm Viztek has released PikoPACS, free PACS software available for download from the company's website.
The software features a one-click installer that works on most personal computers and uses a Web browser worklist for deployment. It also offers unlimited DICOM receive, send, and print nodes, in addition to patient CD burning and importing of outside CDs.
PikoPACS is intended for small clinics and for single or multiuser PACS.
