Sony Medical is showing its new MD2GO remote high-definition (HD) Internet protocol (IP) camera system at the annual AHRA meeting this week in Grapevine, TX.
With a personal computer and Microsoft Internet Explorer Web browser, users can view another party in HD video and have a two-way audio conversation from virtually anywhere at any time, according to Sony.
The camera can be used in the operating room to observe interventional radiology procedures, for patient monitoring following a procedure, or for teaching applications for radiologists or technologists.
