Merge creates clinical advisory board

Healthcare IT and advanced visualization developer Merge Healthcare has created a clinical advisory board to provide consultation on new models of care and emerging trends focused on a patient-centric experience.

The board is led by Dr. Cheryl Whitaker, Merge's chief medical officer. Serving as co-chairs are Dr. Paul Chang, professor of radiology and vice chair for radiology informatics at the University of Chicago Medical Center, and Dr. Keith Dreyer, PhD, vice chairman of radiology informatics at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Other advisory board members include the following:

  • Dr. William Boonn, chief of 3D and the Advanced Imaging Lab at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania
  • Dr. John Carrino, associate professor of radiology and orthopedic surgery at Johns Hopkins University
  • Dr. David Mendelson, chief of clinical informatics and professor of radiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center
  • Dr. Eliot Siegel, chief of radiology and nuclear medicine at the Veterans Affairs Maryland Health Care System
  • Timothy Zoph, chief information officer and senior vice president of administration at Northwestern Memorial Hospital
