Healthcare IT and advanced visualization developer Merge Healthcare has introduced Merge Honeycomb, a free cloud-based medical imaging sharing service.
Users will be able to upload, download, view, and share images at no cost, according to the vendor. Access to images will be permission-based. Open to anyone, the service will formally be launched at the upcoming 2011 RSNA meeting in Chicago, Merge said.
