Teleradiology services provider Virtual Radiologic (vRad) has named Jim Tierney as senior vice president of operations for vRad Radiology Alliance.
Tierney most recently served as CEO of Suburban Radiologic Consultants, managing operations for the 62-physician radiology practice. He has also served as president of the Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) and Minnesota Medical Group Management Association.
He will be responsible for managing and expanding vRad Radiology Alliance, an integrated national specialty network, and enhancing the strength of the company's local, onsite radiology partners.
