PACS vendor RamSoft said that its PowerServer 5.1 RIS/PACS software has received complete electronic health record (EHR) certification from a U.S. Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Testing and Certification Body (ONC-ATCB).
The 2011/2012 certification by ICSA Labs designates that the software is capable of supporting providers with stage 1 meaningful use (MU) measures required to qualify for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), according to RamSoft. PowerServer 5.1 will be offered in both RIS/PACS and Tele Plus models.
