Teleradiology services provider Virtual Radiologic (vRad) has teamed up with Icon Medical Imaging, a developer of imaging-based products for clinical trials.
Under the deal, Icon will have access to the subspecialty expertise of vRad's radiologists in obtaining interpretations, according to the companies. The first clinical trial involving vRad launched in September, and more are expected to follow soon, the companies said.
