Agfa HealthCare has completed the installation of its Impax Data Center and enterprise viewing technology for all 37 sites of Hospital Diagnostic Imaging Repository Services (HDIRS) in Ontario, Canada.
Physicians at HDIRS, which serves approximately 30% of Ontario's population, now can view more than 7 million imaging exams.
Impax Data Center is a scalable imaging repository designed to store clinical DICOM data objects, including DICOM-encapsulated nonimaging items, such as waveforms, structured reports, and PDFs.
