Cloud-based imaging platform developer DICOM Grid has announced the close of a $5 million financing expansion round.
The financing round, led by Canaan Partners, CHL Medical Partners, and individual investors, will be used to expand DICOM Grid's distribution of its DG Suite for managing diagnostic imaging health data.
DICOM Grid has won contracts with two new hospitals: Frederick Memorial Hospital in Maryland and Ella Health in Harrisburg, PA. The company has also expanded its relationship with Texas Medical Center, and it now has more than 450 million images under management.
