RIS/PACS vendor Infinitt North America has signed on to become an application partner with healthcare informatics firm InterSystems.
Infinitt will be able to offer InterSystems Ensemble's integration platform functionality with its own PACS viewer, addressing the workflow issues that radiologists and teleradiology groups face when reading studies from disparate PACS applications and from multiple healthcare facilities, Infinitt said.
The integration provides a unified reading and reporting environment that consolidates studies from multiple sites through one user interface and worklist, according to the vendor. It also includes a rules-based search capability that will prefetch priors from all connected facilities, and the ability to read studies from multiple facilities with a single log-in and a common set of features and reporting tools.
